Boat Description

2004 Black Watch 30 Flybridge, 30' See Black Watch at the Fred Hall Fishing Shows Long Beach - March 3-7 San Diego - March 17-21 The 30', as with all Black Watch boats, is a superior sea boat and a purebred sportfisher. With twin diesel power, the boat jumps easily onto a plane and reach speeds in excess of 30 knots. A large fuel capacity, a built-in transom bait tank, two huge cockpit fish holds and a hull designed by Ray Hunt (of Bertram fame) put this vessel in a league by itself. Weather pushing into a head sea or running in a following sea, the Black Watch hulls are dry, responsive and have no tendency to roll or yaw. Black Watch has the latest in new generation Deep-V hulls. The fine bow allows the nose to be trimmed into a head sea without loss of speed. The deadrise varies all the way to the transom where the hull exhibits an exit vee of 19 degrees. These new hull shapes are extremely soft riding, require less horsepower, and are drier than any other boat in their class. Offshore safety and fishability is Black Watch's foremost concern. All Black Watch sportfishers have hand-laid, solid fiberglass bottoms and extra heavy duty stringers systems which contribute to the backbone of the boat. Watertight bulkheads run longitudinally whilst the glassed in running strakes all ad to the superior hull strength.
