Infinity is a beautiful luxurious, go-anywhere steel ketch ready for extended live aboard cruising and in excellent condition.

She is an Australian registered ship and has been the home of the owners for many years. She has never left the Pacific and has traveled a mere 11.000 miles since her launch in 1989. Infinity was custom built to a Halvorsen Freya design with no expense spared. Hull material is 5.5mm steel with CORTEN steel below the waterline. All frames and stringers are close spaced and extra strong. All deck fittings are grade 316 Stainless Steel. Rigging is also 316 Stainless with Sta-lok Turnbuckles and Terminals. Headsail sheet, anchor and halyard winches are hydraulic. Total number of winches 13. Deck is teak on steel. Cockpit is all Teak. Power comes from a 150hp turbo-charged Cummins through an Aquadrive to a 3-bladed Max-Prop. Fuel is carried in integrated 3000L tanks and water in 2 x 1000L S.S. tanks. Interior fit-out is in rare Queensland Cedar. Accommodation consists of 2 spacious staterooms both with double beds and an additional 1/4 berth in the forward stateroom. There are 2 x separate crew bunks in the forepeak. A large saloon has the galley attached with separate refrigeration and freezer setups run by two fully electronic compressors.

There are 2 heads with showers and separate laundry, navigation and workshop areas.

Generator is a 240V 3.5 kw Mase. Wiring is 240VAC and 24VDC throughout with a 3.5kw 24V inverter and 3-stage charger. A complete complete check-up and re-fit was carried out in late 2004 with new paint below the water and topsides, equipment overhaul and updated electronics. Infinity is more than ready for extended cruising and live-aboard. Her replacement cost would be in excess of AUD 2 Million+. Infinity also has a permanent cruising permit for Vanuatu and New Zealand. Due to incapacity of the 1st mate the boat has not been used for 9 years, and is now reluctantly put up for sale. The new owner will get a fine boat at the bargain asking price of 395.000 Australian dollars or USD 300.000
