Boat Description

Full fin keel, skeg hung rudder. Modified stern version with sugar scoop. Flush deck, center cockpit, cutter rigged with diesel auxilary.
Designed as a strong, rugged, accessible cruising yacht for those interested in affordable world cruising in any latitude. Built for comfort and safety at sea as well as in port with her voluminous open layout. Vessel has been thoroughly inspected throughout and extensively refitted in 2001 with new steel added where needed in preperation for extended cruising. Additional new equipment was added in 2005. Vessel is extremely well equipped and has been well cared for and has everything required for extended offshore cruising.
Plans have changed. Take advantage of the preperation put into this boat or simply as a comfortable tropical liveaboard. Absolutely ready to go. Just bring dishes and charts!

Built: 1978 Nantes France. Refitted 2001.

Scantlings
- all steel galvanized coated, ship building quality used.
- keel , longitudinal frames and transverse frames 10mm
- plating keel to deck level 6mm
- deck plating 4 mm
Hull and deck insulated from waterline.
Unfaired hull for ease of maintenance. Sophisticated two part marine epoxy coatings used inside and out. Hull sandblasted in 2003.

Interior Layout
Unconventional bright and airy open layout with tons of storage space.
Enter through main hatch in center of vessel. To starboard is the navigation station featuring a large sit down chart table, storage, electrical panel and electronics. Forward of the chart table is a built in industrial singer sewing machine with ½ hp electric motor. Forward of this is the main double berth directly under a hatch for cool breezes in port, custom mattress and lots of storage under. This area also doubles as a workshop area for canvas and sailmaking projects by removing the headboard. (supplement your cruising income with a canvas shop in the boat!)
A focsle with sail storage and chain locker occupy the extreme fwd. To port fwd is a lavac toilet with linen storage behind. Aft of the head is a sideboard with dresser drawers under and hanging locker. The galley is to port midships with a household size double sink, 2 whale foot pumps fresh and salt water for ease of maintenance and simplicity, a fresh water filter system, a 3 burner Galleymaid propane stove with grill and oven and an Alder Barbour cold machine refrigeration system complete the galley. The fridge is top loading and extremely efficient due to almost 1 foot of insulation surrounding it.
The entire aft of the vessel is taken up by the main sallon, U shaped seating with a huge fixed table, great for entertaining. A second double berth and the primary sea berth is to starboard and forward.
The engine is under the cockpit and is accessable on all sides by removeable panels for ease of maintenance.
