Boat Description

Hull and superstructure

GRP single chine semi-displacement hull with heavily reinforced frames and stringers. Hydraulic trim flaps. Ballasted GRP integral keel with a protective timber skeg. All phosphor bronze keel bolts replaced in 2001. 12mm teak laid decks. Mahogany superstructure spray finished with multi-coats of 2 component epoxy paint. Polished stainless steel port lights and sliding door units to the aft deck. Aluminium framed windows to the deckhouse and wheelhouse. All windows of toughened glass.

Deck fittings.

Stainless steel stanchions and rails with protective bulwarks. Midship boarding gates and gangway. Mooring bollards and cleats. Bathing platform with stern ladder and folding swim ladder fitted in 2000. Deck shower. Besenzoni combined hydraulic passerelle and dinghy davit fitted in 2000. Zodiac RIB inflatable 310 dinghy with Yamaha 4hp outboard - both new in 2000. Lofrans electric anchor winch with 80m of 10mm chain. Bower anchor and kedge anchor. Large escape hatch from forward guest cabin. Electric capstan on the aft deck. Stainless steel fender holders. Deckwash. Large foredeck lazerette. Deck cushions. Stainless steel anchor and dinghy davit forward. Secondary helm station with instrumentation and helmsmanīs seat on the bridge deck. Bridge deck seating and cushions. Tinted glass dodgers to aft section of the bridge deck. Folding bimini awning new in 2001.

Twin Cummins VTA 903 M 450 hp diesels 1982 with approx 1200 engine hours. Capitol 2.5:1 gearboxes with Walter “V” drives.

Steering.

Dual station hydraulic steering. Vetus bow thruster delivering 160kg thrust and new in 2000 with dual station controls.

Accommodation.

The interior joinery is of teak finished to a very high standard and the well planned

accommodation provides for six persons in three double cabins.

main deck level

The large and airy saloon is located on the main deck level with settee seating and a twin leaf dining table to starboard. To port is a full length sideboard unit comprising stowage cupboards, TV and video unit, drinks stowage and a small drinks fridge. Large sliding doors provide same level access to the spacious aft deck which is provided with a large circular table and five folding teak deckchairs.

Forward of the saloon to starboard is an office area with a desk, cupboard space, a bookcase and drawer units providing individual and secure stowage for glasses. A satellite phone is located in this area and there is also provision for a laptop computer.

To port is the open plan galley equipped with a 240v electric cooker with a 4 plate hob and oven, a double sink unit and a Bosch dishwasher and large fridge, installed in 2000 . Top cupboards and a large extending drawer unit provide ample stowage space and a service hatch gives access to the saloon. The galley was remodelled in 2000. A cabinet freezer, installed in 2000, is located in the deck lazerette.

In the wheelhouse to starboard is the staircase to the lower deck level. The extensive helm station occupies the remaining area and is equipped with full instrumentation and navigational equipment together with a helmsmanīs and a navigatorīs chair. Sliding doors to port and starboard provide access to the deck.

lower deck level

The master cabin is located aft on the lower deck. The cabin has a king size double bed, bedside tables, a full height wardrobe, a vanity table and cupboards. An en-suite dressing room with a small settee, wardrobes and cupboards is located to starboard. The adjoining toilet compartment has an electric wc, a shower and washbasin together with ample storage units. An escape hatch is provided in the dressing room deckhead

A central passageway connects with the staircase and the two guest cabins. A Bosch washing machine and dryer, installed in 2000 is located in a self contained compartment having front loading access from the passageway. Controls for the air conditioning and heating are also located in this position.

To port of the passageway is a double guest cabin with twin bunk berths, two full height wardrobes and a cupboard unit. The toilet compartment for this cabin is located on the starboard side of the passageway and has a manual wc, a shower and washbasin together with storage units.

Forward is a double guest cabin with twin “V” berths, two full height wardrobes and storage lockers located below the berths
